Teen drowns at condomunium pool | News
Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota County deputies are investigating the suspected drowning of a teen found in a Siesta Key condominium pool early Friday morning.
Deputies say a resident of the Crystal Sands Condominiums called police around 3:25 a.m. after they found the teen -- later identified as Indiana resident Garrett Mabrey -- at the bottom of the pool. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives say Mabrey, 17, was last seen by his family around midnight. They had been staying at the condos while on vacation. Mabrey's death is believed to be accidental but an autopsy will be performed to confirm his cause of death.
