Mote to open Boca Grande office | News

Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota's Mote Marine Laboratory is expanding its reach, by opening a new office in Boca Grande.

A special ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house will take place on Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. and the public is invited to attend. The office is located at 480 East Railroad Avenue, Unit 7, Railroad Plaza.

The new satellite office aims to increase the knowledge and support of the region's marine environment. Eventually, it's hoped Mote and the community will partner in tarpon and other marine research.
