Longboat Key, Florida - 2013 is here and many people will now be taking down their Christmas trees.
On Longboat Key, Christmas trees may be placed curbside for normal yard waste collection on Wednesdays.
Town officials remind residents to remove all ornaments, icicles and lights. The trees must be on the curb by 7 a.m.
