Sarasota animal groups unite to save all the kittens

Sarasota, Florida -- It's kitten season and already hundreds of kittens have entered shelters and foster homes across Sarasota County. 

This year local humane organizations are committed to saving every life so they are asking the public to take kittens and pregnant cats to local rescue groups to alleviate the burden on Sarasota County Animal Services.

New lost pet hotline for Siesta Key

Siesta Key, Florida -- When you lose a pet, you're desperate to get them back. And now on Siesta Key, there's one more resource to turn to for help.

Local financial advisor Judi Moore has created a lost pet hotline. If you lose a pet or want to be notified when a pet is lost, so you can keep a look out for it, you can call 941-749-5665.

There's also a Facebook page set up to help reunite pets with their owners.
